PM-International Announces 2020 Sales of $1.72 Billion

At Kick-Off Americas Online 2021, a virtual event, PM-International CEO and Founder Rolf Sorg announced the company has increased annual sales by more than 50%, totaling $1.72 billion in 2020.

“We have taken on the challenge and evolved together,” Sorg said to PM International Team Partners during the event. “Thanks to your commitment, we are well positioned for the future.”

The virtual event was broadcast on the company’s television channel, PM TV, to thousands of viewers all over the Americas. This format will continue, according to Sorg, who indicated that hybrid PM-International events, which are both live on site and streamed online and through PM TV, will be a permanent feature for the company.

Sorg also announced plans for further expansion in Central and South America and market openings in Great Britain, Hungary, Portugal, Vietnam and China.

“Even if the current situation shows that long-term plans cannot always be realized—we will not be held back,” Sorg says. “We are flexible, and that’s the way we act.”

The company will also develop its Headquarters Americas in Sarasota, Florida to support this international growth. Plans include a warehouse expansion of 7,000 square feet, a second 3,500 square feet administration building and new facilities for its Pittsburgh offices.

“We are developing very quickly here and have major projects ahead of us,” says Sammy El Ghoul, Chief Sales Officer for the Americas. “As we are already running out of space, we invest into additional manufacturing equipment and facilities.”

Unveilings at the event included a new company website design and a sustainability initiative that sets a goal of developing and introducing 100% recyclable packaging material for all PM-International products by end of 2021.
