doTERRA Donates $27,000 to Feed Utah Families in Need

doTERRA employees donated $27,000 to Thanksgiving Heroes, a nonprofit that feeds families in need during the Thanksgiving season. doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation matched employee and distributor donations by more than double.

“Our goal at Thanksgiving’s Heroes is no hungry kids during the holidays,” says Rob Adams, Founder of Thanksgiving’s Heroes. “Through the funds raised by doTERRA, we fed 337 people, in addition to the thousands more we supported this Thanksgiving. Local families serving local families is the secret sauce here, and every bit counts.”

Employees and community members also nominated families in need and volunteered their time to deliver food.

“This year has been difficult for so many, but doTERRA employees and community members continue to engage in good in so many places as they choose to be advocates of change,” says Missy Larsen, Vice President of Philanthropy and Community Impact at doTERRA. “Time and time again, I’m amazed at what we can achieve through one simple act, multiplied by thousands. We are grateful for all who came together to make this donation possible.”
